- Under supervision of the Program Specialist / Designee, collaborates with classroom teachers and support staff to design, implement and evaluate Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) for special education students. Also, provides consultation, coaching, one-to-one and group presentations, and classroom support, instructional and behavioral strategies for regular education teachers, special education teachers, site personnel, and others providing instructional services to adolescents and transition age youth with disabilities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education / Experience :
Graduation from an accredited graduate program with the receipt of a Master's Degree in Counseling / Psychology or Social Work is required; two years of experience in a mental health setting under clinical supervision as required to qualify for the State recognized license; licensed as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of California.
Required certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Clearances : Required Fingerprinting / Department of Justice and Tuberculosis clearance.
Under supervision of the Director of Support Services, collaborates with classroom teachers and support staff to design, implement and evaluate Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) for special education students. Hours Per Day : 8 Hours (Monday - Friday)
Work Hours : 7 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m.
