Overview:
A printing machine operator is a trained person who produces printed materials by following printing job specifications, setting up, operating, adjusting, and maintaining the printing equipment to ensure that it functions properly.
Essential Functions:
- Operate Large Format Printer
- Prepare files for printing
- Create order
- Check printed materials for clarity, accuracy, quality, finishing and other production factors
- Ability to run a forklift and lift 40 pounds
Competencies:
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop experience is a must
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing) must be perfected
- Ability to work well under pressure to output high volume as well as quality work
Hours of Work:
- 5-day workweek, Mon-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Climate Controlled
Requirements:
- High school diploma / GED
