What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Tech/Equipment Detailer position at Newman Tractor?
Are you a hardworking, detail minded individual looking to kick off your career in the heavy equipment industry? Newman Tractor is looking for a Full-Time Lot Technician to join our team of mechanical technicians in Richwood, KY.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to clean and detail machines at the highest standards, organize & maintain on our lot and perform check in inspections for new arrivals.
Other Responsibilities Include
- Assist in loading equipment by driving equipment or using forklift.
- Assist in unloading equipment by driving equipment or using forklift.
- Keep equipment in order on lot and maintain lot surface.
- Steam clean, wash, and detail equipment.
- Routine building and grounds maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness of shop.
- Assist technicians in shop when needed.
- Make parts and supply runs occasionally using company truck.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improve
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
- Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-hire background check and drug screen
