The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our research teams, brokers, and technical teams to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory. This position plays a vital role in our company's data-driven operations and decision-making processes and requires a deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $185,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with research teams and brokers to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals.
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines in Azure Data bricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design, ensuring solutions align with the company’s architectural direction.
- Implement structures and Azure-based solutions to extract, manage, and analyze large, complex data sets.
- Develop batch and real-time data processing and integration workflows.
- Optimize and fine-tune data queries to improve data platform performance and data quality.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to assist them in building and optimizing our product.
- Maintain data security and compliance in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with technical teams to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure systems are current, secure, and efficient.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, or relevant role in data preprocessing, database design, data mining, or ETL techniques.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure Data bricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and other related services.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
- Proficient in implementing data solutions within Microsoft Azure and experience with Big Data Tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus.
