Newmark & Company Real Estate, Inc. has an opening for Workforce Analytics Consultant in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities :

Research and collect labor market data from valid data providers from county, state, city and county jurisdictions to support Global Strategy Consulting team which prepares and delivers boardroom level strategy recommendations in relation to corporate location strategy decisions on where to invest significant capital expense or commit to job creation. Support Global Services team and provide location strategy consulting to clients across industries for labor analysis, location optimization, expansion or relocation, and portfolio management. Support economic development team with data modelling and GIS mapping. Develop and optimize data models to perform analytics for workforce and labor studies across the practice. Execute data transformation to perform spatial analysis and mapping using sources such as ESRI, BLS, Census, O

• Net, CoStar, JobsEQ, and ERI. Support industries including Financial Services, Healthcare and Life Science, and EV car / battery manufacturing projects. Assist in developing specific, proprietary views on labor market comparisons that are utilized in our client deliverables, such models include : True Labor Shed - Compilation and evaluation of labor market commute patterns, which vary significantly by geography, which helps us compare the size and competition for labor between locations; Willing and Able Model - evaluates published, competitive pay benchmarks within a defined market to understand how much more labor a client might be able to access with an adjustment to hourly pay or higher salaries. Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management, Economics, Human Resources Management, Finance, Geospatial Information Sciences or related field and two (2) years of experience as an Analyst, Consultant, Engineer, or similar. Must have two (2) years of experience with the following : Business intelligence tools including Tableau, Power BI, QlikView and CRE Navigator; conducting analyses that support client decision-making while leveraging tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and project management / process mapping software. Salary : $85,000 - $100,000 annually

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
