Your impact

Develop and implement a strategic service delivery plan, identify success factors and agreed performance standards, collaborate with functions and the business to ensure customer needs are met and to achieve optimal service delivery in compliance with standards and policies.

As part of our team you will

  • Define and lead standards monitoring and enforcement processes including identification of success factors, KPIs and agreed service levels
  • Collaborate with the function to agree on appropriate success factors and service levels
  • Meet with Customer Council routinely for updates and feedback
  • Foster collaboration with the business to meet their evolving needs
  • Set goals for the SEG team and monitor progress and risks
  • Conduct risk assessments, including process, regulatory, and commercial risks
  • Understand and manage the impact of SEG systems on the functions.
  • Drive continuous Improvement of customer satisfaction for SEG’s service catalogue
  • Offer insights for policy development and enhancements to the functions
  • Develops and refines existing systems, and develops new systems, by understanding trends within a single field of knowledge
  • Recognizes the interconnections of data from a flow of real events within a system (or knowledge field, or discipline)
  • Thinks about alternative means to achieve a goal by forming chains of hypothetical activities (if this, then that; if that, then the other)
  • Generates and tests hypotheses within a single field of knowledge
  • Determines the difference between special and systemic cause

Prerequisites for your success in this role

  • Strong functional expertise in applicable discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or Supply Chain)
  • University degree or equivalent in applicable discipline (Finance, Human Resources or Supply Chain), with Master’s degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in a variety of roles in the relevant discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance, HR or Supply Chain)
  • Experience supporting a regional business unit and/or mine site
  • Demonstrated experience working in a large project environment (multiple or complex sites and datasets) with ERP and ownership of discipline specific sub-areas
  • Experience working across cultures and within high performance teams
  • Broad experience in process improvement, SAP or system implementation
  • Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end processes in the relevant discipline
  • Ability to communicate a vision and strategy to senior management and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse perspectives and resolve conflicts with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and influencing within a global matrix environment
  • Project management or related experience.
  • Cross functional process and system acumen across the end-to-end process.
  • Flexibility to adapt to requirements from the business and stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish desirable)

This role will be based out of the Denver office.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $172,500 - 241,500. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
