The salary range offered for this role is USD $88,000 to 115,500 USD. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.

Your role will consist of
In this role, the individual will:
- Assist in compiling and maintaining the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with regional and business unit priorities.
- Develop, track, and monitor the technology project portfolio, ensuring projects align with strategic goals and objectives.
- Monitor the execution of individual technology projects, reporting on progress, performance metrics, and recommendations.
- Support project managers in planning and coordinating technology projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Facilitate communication between project managers, technology teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective project execution.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the technology project portfolio management.
- Ensure all project activities comply with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project and portfolio managers and directors to gather updates and prepare performance reports for leadership review.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in project planning, coordination, and management.
- Spanish language proficiency is a must.
- Familiarity with technology roadmap development and portfolio management.
- Understanding of data analysis and performance reporting.
- Awareness of forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Smartsheets, MS Project).
- Proficient skills in data analysis and visualization tools in Smartsheets, Tableau, Power BI.
- Strong skills in preparing and presenting performance reports.
- Technical expertise in tracking and monitoring project execution.
- Experience in gathering and analyzing project performance metrics.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in facilitating communication and coordination among project teams.
- Strong technical documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Sharepoint.
- Experience in SAP purchase order processing
