Your impact
The SAP Procurement and Planning Solutions Specialist will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of SAP S4HANA, SAP Ariba and Fieldglass solutions for Goods and Services procurement processes. This role will ensure that procurement operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for procurement-related IT initiatives.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $137,000 to 160,000. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.

Your impact
The SAP Procurement and Planning Solutions Specialist will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of SAP S4HANA, SAP Ariba and Fieldglass solutions for Goods and Services procurement processes. This role will ensure that procurement operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for procurement-related IT initiatives.
As part of our team you will
- Collaborate with the IT Director, Supply Chain, and other senior leadership to develop and execute the IT strategy for procurement.
- Align IT projects with business goals to enhance procurement operations and efficiency.
- Oversee the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP S4HANA, SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass for procurement processes.
- Ensure system integrity, security, and performance to support efficient procurement operations.
- Lead IT projects related to procurement, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively
- Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes through technology solutions.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT Supply Chain domain.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals specializing in procurement, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development for team members.
- Act as a liaison between IT and procurement departments, ensuring clear communication and understanding of procurement requirements.
- Provide support to end-users, promoting effective use of SAP S4HANA, SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass for procurement.
- Ensure procurement solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. LATAC ministry of finance tax validation know how for Mexico (SAT), Peru (SUNAT) and Argentina (AFIP) is critical.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement processes and IT operations.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience designing, delivering and supporting large scale distributed systems
- 5-10 years of Supply chain experience
- Extensive experience implementing and configuring SAP Supply chain Procurement, materials management, material planning and Inventory management from implementation planning and configuration through go-live.
- Must have Supply chain SAP functional knowledge and a strong understanding of the integration points.
- Supply chain data migration experience from various SAP LOB applications or modules
- Familiarity with SaaS solutions and their integration points with SAP S4HANA
- PMP Certification is desirable
- Mining, construction, utilities or other heavy industry experience is preferred
- Effective in gathering requirements from the business users, understand the appropriate options for SAP LOB modules for supply chain and be able to support the pros and cons associated with each option
- Must have strong business acumen. Can articulate technical concepts to stakeholders
- Highly collaborative with ability to work well and interact with various departments throughout the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to translate complicated concepts to non-technical audience
- Strong project management skills, including experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong change management skills to guide teams through transitions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Meticulous attention to detail with respect to documentation for meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action, decisions, issue management, risk management, schedule management, scope management

- The preferred location for this position is the corporate headquarters in Denver, CO but qualified candidates in other US locations, Canada, or Mexico are also encouraged to apply as remote options may be considered.
- If hired in Canada the applicable base salary range is CAD $145,000 to 170,000
