Job Summary: The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and employees at Newport Ave Landscaping. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Schedule appointments and manage the company’s calendar for client meetings and job estimates.
- Maintain organized records, files, and documentation related to clients, projects, and company operations.
- Assist with data entry, invoicing, and processing payments.
- Coordinate with field crews and management to relay messages and updates.
- Order office supplies and ensure the front desk area remains neat and organized.
- Assist with social media updates, email correspondence, and basic marketing tasks as needed.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Provide general administrative support to the management team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, or administrative roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Experience in the landscaping, construction, or service industry is a plus but not required.
