Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION :
Under the direction of an assigned Administrator, oversee and provide guidance in the coordination of Extended Day Program operations at assigned sites; assist with approved academic and enrichment class activities; provide a safe and nurturing environment for student achievement; train, support and provide guidance to Extended Day Program personnel; and related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Any combination equivalent to : graduation from high school and two years' experience working with children in an educational, recreational or child care setting.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Valid California driver's license.
Valid First Aid / CPR certification.
NOTE : The ability to speak Spanish is required for all locations. A bilingual proficiency exam is part of the examination process for those candidates who selected an interest in testing for this particular skill. A 2.5% bilingual stipend would be added to the base pay at time of hire, where needed.
