Job Description: Laundry Attendant
Location: SpringHill Suites Beaufort SC, 2227 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC, 29902
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and towels are laundered and maintained in a clean and orderly manner. The Laundry Attendant will work closely with the Housekeeping department to ensure that all guest rooms are stocked with clean linens and towels.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and wash all hotel linens and towels
- Dry and fold all laundered items
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is maintained and in good working order
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department
- Assist with inventory control of all linens and towels
- Ensure that all laundry areas are kept clean and organized
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
