We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at SpringHill Suites Prince Frederick. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel's facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and professional manner
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure their longevity and efficiency
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
