Nurse Aide Training Class

Our team at Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will provide a 4-week paid hands-on training you need to succeed as a CNA. Training location will be at Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Upon successful completion of the paid training class, your work schedule for Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center location will be provided.

What is needed to enroll in our paid training class?

• Desire to provide compassionate and quality care to seniors
• Interest in making a difference in the lives of those you serve
• Drive to work in a fast-paced medical environment
• **Must be 18 years or older to operate machinery

Get paid to learn!

• Providing hygiene care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary
• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the Plan of Care, and documenting observed changes to the Supervisor
