The Role
Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products. Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.
The candidate should have a solid background in role-based security, Audit and Compliance.

The Role

- Manage multiple initiatives, build/maintain strong business relationships.
- Facilitate positive and solution-oriented discussions with key cross-functional business stakeholders.
- Lead discussions with business partners and help them navigate from their business process needs for SAP needs.
- Articulate highly technical issues in more simplistic terms so others less technical can understand.
- Communicate and coordinate with the extended Newport News Shipbuilding SAP Security team as required by their projects. This includes Huntington Ingalls Industries colleagues from other parts of the company.
- Work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Work with and influence peers and senior management.
Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience.

- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
- Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
- Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
- High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
- High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
- A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
- Security Experience, SAP Security skills: GRC, ARM, and IAM experience
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of SAP/GRC software, SOX compliance, specifically Access Control 12.0
- Experience in ARM, FIORI, CFIN and HANA is preferred
- Experience with Identity and Access Management
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
- Able to obtain a clearance if needed
