Job Summary
Newport Polo is seeking candidates with retail sales experience for part-time, weekend employment in the Pro Shop boutique - a fun, live event atmosphere, retail shop for Newport Polo's signature sportswear and souvenir collection.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience required
- Outgoing, friendly, helpful, with the ability to easily engage with customers
- Committed and punctual
- Well organized and motivated with the ability to complete self-directed tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection
- Process customer payments via cash or card using point of sale system
- Restock merchandise, tidy displays, assist with store cleanliness
- Tag new merchandise
Schedule
Typical hours are Saturday, 2:00PM - 8:00PM (1:00PM - 7:00PM in Sept). Limited additional hours may be available. Candidates must be available June - August/September.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
