Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Gate Attendant to join the team.
Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. About the Position: In the Gate Attendant role, you greet guests cordially, direct guests correctly, advise the front desk/bell staff of guest arrival, maintain secure presence at the entrance to the property, maintain constant radio communication with all Front of the House Departments
About You: You have a passion for hospitality and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Essential Duties:
- Confirm reservation and room location on arrival list.
- Distribute parking passes
- Direct guests to the main house for check in.
- Acknowledge all Inn guests with parking pass each time they enter or depart the property.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Must be flexible to work 10-hour shifts Thursday-Sunday
- Prior experience a plus but not required
- Must be 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
