What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-6 School Librarian - 40% (2025-2026 school year) position at Newport Town School?
The Library Media Specialist will administer a program that is integrated with the school’s curriculum and support the educational mission of the school, with a focus on digital citizenship. The job involves several components: administrative, educational, technical, and professional. A strong background and understanding of both elementary school literacy and instructional technology is required for this position.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and responsible professional who loves teaching young children with a variety of strengths and challenges. Applicants should have good communication skills and be a team player.
