What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Nutrition Manager position at Newport Town School?
Newport Town School has an immediate opening for a School Nutrition Manager. The School Nutrition Manager is responsible for providing and maintaining a healthy and successful food program within the school in a friendly and caring way while abiding by all federal, state, and local regulations and policies.
Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least three years’ experience in school nutrition and/or food preparation as well as strong organizational, recordkeeping and problem-solving skills. A knowledge of state nutrition regulations and health and safety standards is also required.
This is a 185 day position (school session plus 10 additional days at the discretion of the school principal), up to 8 hours/day, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
