Job Description
Newr is seeking an experienced electronics technician who works well in a dynamic environment. You'll be the expert in your field for our projects that require these skills and will work directly with the electrical engineers.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
5 years' experience in PCB assembly and testing.
5 years' of SMT soldering and rework
Experience with equipment for testing embedded systems a plus (oscilloscope, multi-meter, LCR, power supply)
Experience with MS Office & google docs
Experience in li-ion battery assembly a plus.
Attitude with something to prove.
Willingness to think outside the box.
Communication!
Must sign an NDA prior to starting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Read PCB schematics and circuits.
Solder 0402, 0603, and 0805 SM components.
Solder multi-pen IC components.
Solder BGA components a plus.
Rework TH & SM components
Inspect and verify ordered PCBs
Record test data into excel or google sheet
COMPENSATION
Based on experience
Full time in-person
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
