What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Coordinator position at Newrest?
Newrest is looking for a Dock Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring that all inflight catering carts are loaded correctly and timely on to the trucks. The Dock Coordinator will not have anyone reporting directly to him/her. Instead, this person will supervise the process flow at the dock. This will require manual labor with pushing many carts at a time. This person will need to direct the work of others to ensure accurate catering of all flights.

The employee is also required to frequently inspect the manufacturing floor and will be exposed to noise levels that may range from moderate to loud.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the airline or aviation industry is recommended but not required
- Understanding of the rules of hygiene, safety and security
- Must be able to stand on feet all day and be physically active
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others
- Must be able to obtain an Airport Ramp badge which requires the successful completion of a 10-year background check
