What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Inspector/Checker position at Newrest?
Newrest IAH is looking for a Vehicle Inspector that will report to the Fleet Management team in Houston Texas. This position requires a lot of multi-tasking and coordination in a loud environment. The individual will need to be available to work a flexible schedule.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee the integrity of vehicle inspections (pre-check / post-check)
- Ensure all vehicles are functioning properly before been released to the users.
- Perform vehicle inspection when the vehicle is returned by the user.
- Check vehicle cabins and cargo boxes to ensure are clean of trash and debris.
- Maintain parking lot clean and organized.
- Perform lubrication of guardrails, inspect loading ramps, cargo straps and tire chocks and fire extinguishers
- Relieve personal cage during breaks.
