Primary Function
The Project Manager – Servicing Program Management is tasked with isolating areas of potential process inefficiencies and initiating/managing remediation projects. The management of these projects will include, but is not limited to, diagnosing process gaps, providing procedural improvement recommendations, tracking the current and targeted error rate, providing updated managerial reporting, and finalizing the handoff of the process and reporting to the respective business unit. In addition, this individual will own ongoing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and performance management for completed projects. This individual will support the Director and/or Sr Director in management of project activities, tracking, organizational reporting, customer presentations, scorecards, etc.

Principal Duties
- Responsible for the management of various projects as assigned by department management (e.g., VP, Sr Director, or Director).
- Tasked with understanding key processes for Performing and Specialty Servicing.
- Individual to work daily with the Servicing Operations teams to measure and monitor current error rates for selected remediation projects.
- Individual to work daily with the Servicing Operations teams to measure and monitor financial and operational performance of securitizations.
- Individual will be responsible for rectifying current process gaps among various processes and providing reporting to ensure the appropriate changes are managed and monitored post project closing.
- Will work collaboratively with various department leaders on key performance directives.
- Will track the success and failure rate of previously closed projects and provide summary statistics on the corresponding error percentage postmortem.
- Prioritize and present open projects and remediations to executive team on a monthly basis.
- Own the assigned process areas with activities including change management and coordinating implementation/change between various groups in the organization.
- Ensures that preventives actions from remediations are carried out using process improvement principles such as Lean Six Sigma and/or the Shelter Mortgage Servicing (SMS) Problem Solving Tool.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
- These essential functions are fundamental to the role, and must be performed on-site, as they cannot physically be performed remotely. In addition, the Company has determined that an in-person presence is important to critical components of our work, including oversight, training, collaboration, and productivity. Items not marked (*) as essential on-site may still require partial on-site work to perform the role satisfactorily.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4 years’ related experience required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
- Amendable to changes in priority, project scope, and deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Experience in Smartsheet.
- Able to work independently and with little direct guidance.
- Analytical skills and the ability to design and implement processes.
- Project management skills.
- Must have a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
