POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Continuity Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the business continuity program to ensure the company's operations remain resilient in the face of potential disruptions. The Business Continuity Analyst will collaborate across departments to identify risks, develop response strategies, and test the organization's preparedness to handle various scenarios.
DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities
- Business Continuity Planning :
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity plans.
- Coordinate business impact analyses (BIAs) to identify critical processes, dependencies, and risks.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation :
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities affecting the organization's operations.
- Propose mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposure.
- Testing and Training :
- Plan and execute regular testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for employees.
- Incident Response Coordination :
- Support incident response efforts, including communication, documentation, and recovery activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of response strategies during real incidents and drills.
- Compliance and Reporting :
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to business continuity.
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits and senior leadership.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
