POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst II (Advanced) will provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and other decision support services to leadership. The successful Analyst will be analytical, with strong communication skills and business judgment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and other decision support services to the business.
- Create financial models that accurately predict the financial and operational results of the business under various circumstances.
- Create detailed capacity models for key functions within the business.
- Track and report on relevant key metrics specific to the business.
- Manage business relationships and cultivate an environment of mutual trust and integrity – become the key financial representative for the assigned section of the business.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations for executive leadership, the board of directors and other external parties.
- Perform other ad hoc analysis as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- 2-4 years of experience in similar role
- MBA, CPA or CFA preferred
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word required
- Prior experience with Hyperion Essbase (or another similar product) a plus
- SQL, VBA or Access skills are not required, but are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
