Primary Function
The Servicing Disbursement Analyst is a member of the Servicing Disbursements team delivering loan level homeowner related payable services to all lines of the servicing business.
This position is responsible for leveraging technology to implement best practices and solve business challenges. The Servicing Disbursement Analyst is responsible for driving compliance to company policies and procedures related to homeowner related accounts payables.
Principal Duties
- Ensure that all invoices are paid by their due dates, where applicable, and that they are coded correctly.
- Ensure vendor codes are properly set up in the servicing system for proper payment and coding of expenses.
- Support homeowner payables project initiatives and drive change.
- Ensure internal turn-around deadline of 3 business days is met for expense.
- Upload and manage the checks report into the banking software each day.
- Manage the in-house check run for homeowner related payables (tracking distribution and communicating to other departments)
- Handle all vendor calls and questions to ensure payments are received and applied correctly.
- Coordinate banking instructions and payment maintenance for vendors in the servicing system.
- Perform monthly reporting and key data analyses to management.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Company’s Approval Authority and expense policies.
- Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Other duties as directed Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- 5 years of accounting, finance, accounts payable and/or purchasing experience required.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Supply chain management, accounts payable and/or customer service.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- ERP/Accounts Payable knowledge required.
- Servicing Director experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work with a diverse team located in several US cities. Goal-oriented and timeline driven.
- Attention to detail.
