The Networks of Mid-Missouri is seeking a full-time Newscast Director for its newsroom in Columbia. The director must have the ability to work under pressure.
The successful candidate's duties will include directing and technical directing of newscasts, pre-production, graphics, managing studio assistants and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Applicants must have knowledge of newscast production techniques, the ability to handle many tasks at once while leading the behind-the-scenes production team of a live newscast and good management skills. Experience with production switchers, Adobe Photoshop and Chyron CG products is helpful. Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication or a related field is preferred. Previous newsroom experience is a plus. Candidate must have a valid Missouri driver's license and pass a drug test and a background check.
