Gulf California Broadcasting Company is accepting resumes for a booth operator / on-air personality for its #1 ranked Spanish speaking radio station La Poderosa 96.7, KUNA-FM. The right candidate will run the operating board and host on weekends, handle station voice production needs, edit audio and post to the La Poderosa website. The position would need to be able to travel into the station for the weekends.
We are looking for someone with a pleasing personality and voice, along with strong digital audio editing skills. You will need to be creative, inquisitive, and should be able to interact well with others, including co-workers, producers and station clients.
Eligibility requirements :
- Must be available to work up to 16 hours per week on weekends, with possible additional hours during the week as available.
- Must speak Spanish as the primary language.
- Disc jockey or related experience.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Be available for remote broadcasts and offsite promotional events as necessary.
Creative individuals with superior communications skills are encouraged to apply. Duties include radio show hosting, along with voice production for internal and external organizations.
We offer a competitive hourly wage and PTO. Employment is contingent upon the successful outcome of a background check and drug screening. Candidates will need to have a current driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
Pay Range : $18-$20 per hour. Based on experience.
