CDL A Transfer Driver
Newsom Oil Company is a Florida-based company that has been in business since 1945. We are looking for an experienced CDL A driver to help us get product to our remote locations.
Job Description:
- Afternoon start time, team driving from Zellwood, FL to Pompano, FL, or from Zellwood, FL to Blackshear/Augusta, GA, transfer load to 3 box trucks.
- Moving 55 gallon drums from truck to truck.
- Maintain telephone contact with dispatch to receive delivery instructions or notice of changes.
- Responsible for daily inspection of vehicles (pre- post trip)
- Guaranteed 40 hours a week
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 year CDL A verifiable commercial driving experience
- No automatic restriction on license
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Outstanding safety record
- Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations
- Must maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicles
- Stable work history
Job Type: Full-time
