Essential Job Functions:
- Manages personnel at the branch/warehouse locations in their area(s) for accountability, performance, and productivity and provides feedback, coaching, and training as necessary
- Ensures audits are completed for each location as needed and ensures any deficiencies are resolved in a timely manner
- Works closely with leadership to implement policies, protocols, programs, company initiatives, and tools to improve performance and achieve company goals
- Manages a process that tracks and measures the performance and productivity of assigned locations
- Monitors staffing levels, expenses, equipment utilization, and inventory to ensure maximum location and area performance
- Maintains the highest standards of efficiency in all warehouse operations and inventory control
- Maintains the physical security of the company’s inventory investment
- Advises the Leadership Team and makes recommendations on the makeup of the warehouse inventory to minimize company loss due to obsolescence and excessive carrying cost
- Oversight for keeping warehouses safe and clean. Complies with infectious control standards
- Works as a team to help transport deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with Company procedures and applicable regulations
- Applies knowledge and ability to safely load and unload deliveries
- Instructs customer staff members on the proper use and safety of the equipment
- Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance
- Maintains vehicle and reports associated with it
- Segregates, handles, and transports soiled equipment
- Supports warehouse and equipment maintenance, as needed
- Inspects equipment for damage and/or wear and ensures that it is functioning at expected levels
- Ensures that Area complies with operational procedures, regulatory compliance, and corporate policies
- Monitors financial reports of area and locations looking for opportunities to improve performance and implementing timely corrective action plans
- Keeps updated on industry and marketplace trends
- Effectively manages the performance of branch personnel in their territory. Ensures that all subordinates receive the proper training and that they possess the right skills and drive to achieve superior results
- Evaluates staffing needs and costs; identifies individuals with the right skills and competencies necessary to achieve superior results
- Develops a team environment that values diversity and uses various individual’s strengths to the benefit of the team
- Travel to visit subordinates, locations and customers; regularly throughout assigned region; region revisions based on customer and business needs
- Deliver and promote high level quality customer service; exhibit and promote professionalism, positive and pleasant demeanor
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education
- 3 plus years or directly related experience and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to lift equipment up to 80 pounds
- Previous management experience
- Safety-mindedness
- Customer service focused
- Valid driver’s license; no major violations in the past five consecutive years, no more than two minor moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 36 consecutive months
- Flexibility and ability to travel; at times on short to no notice
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Successfully passed screenings (background check/drug)
- Vaccinations or approved exemptions (i.e. COVID)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
