Essential Job Functions:
· Primarily responsible for deliveries and service:
- Willingness to spend a minimum of 1 week at a time in various cities: set-up warehouses, conduct new customers roll-outs, and provide coverage for local employees; travel will be continuous and some occasions up to three weeks at a time
- Transports medical equipment deliveries and sets up according to manifest in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with Company procedures and applicable regulations
- Applies knowledge and ability to safely load and unload equipment, order preparation according to size of load and content description
- Processes delivery documents accurately and efficiently for each shipment; rectifies documentation discrepancies
- Obtains and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation; submits timely in accordance with company policy
- Ensures ample quantity of backups and supplies on site in accordance with facility needs
- Assesses equipment repairs; on site and/or at warehouse location
- Repairs and services equipment on site as applicable
- Instructs staff members on the proper use and safety of the equipment; provides written instructions, if applicable
- Obtains facility signature on necessary documents; submits required documents to the corporate office, in accordance with company policy
- Provides exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance
- Performs a daily pre-trip vehicle inspection according to checklist
- Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles; identifies and reports all safety concerns, accidents, damage, and malfunctions to management as they occur
- Maintains vehicle interior cleanliness daily and washes exterior weekly
- Segregates, handles, and transports soiled equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
· Support warehouse and equipment maintenance, as needed:
- Inspects equipment for damage and/or wear
- Ensures functional equipment at expected levels
- Upon pickup of equipment, ensure all equipment accessories are accounted for
- Cleans, handles, and safely transports inventory as it enters and leaves the service center
- Ensures that safe handling procedures and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) are utilized as applicable
- Completes all required training; assists with training other New Source Medical personnel
- Responsible for proper use and care of all company electronic devices
Qualifications:
- Positive and pleasant demeanor
- 21 years of age
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing with Department of Motor Vehicles; Must have no major violations in the past five consecutive years; not more than three minor violations or at-fault accidents in the past 36 consecutive months
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 3 years relevant experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Availability to be on call 24/7; rotational basis after typical work hours
- Flexible schedule availability
- Ability to frequently travel, at times with very little notification
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, customer groups, clients, and other personnel (internal and external)

- The employee is frequently required to sit and stand for extended periods of time; climb, balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have the ability to lift to 80 lbs
