Summary
Responsible for selling Lifecycle systems, media, and products (parts, service, operations and rentals) through the achievement of opportunity-based order quotas. Also, responsible for revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Ability to sit for long periods of time. Complex thinking and analysis required.
Work Environment
Generally, works in office environment, however, may be required to visit production sites and exposed to outdoor elements.

Summary

Also, responsible for revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Communicate technical details with existing and potential customers, by all forms of communication.
- Entering customer information and sales order(s) into CRM and ERP system.
- Maintaining updated information in the CRM system.
- Prepare and present proposals, including but not limited to sizing and selection products, pricing, lead-time, shipping terms, and special requirements.
- Work directly with the engineering team to review customer and product drawings/specifications and provide technical solutions to fit customer needs/specifications.
- Working closely with the accounting department in resolving any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
- Providing customer service support to customers such as tracking information, costs, purchase orders that were never received, damaged or lost items, and orders that are time critical or an emergency, etc.
- Responsible for sales volume and sales growth of Newterra equipment product line by maintaining existing customer base, increasing new customer base, and coordinating with outside sales representatives.
- Responding to all customer complaints or inquiries in an efficient manner. Including sending tracking information, locating freight that has not arrived on site by the promise date, or filing complaints when the freight has been damaged.
- Working closely with vendors and suppliers on time critical situations. This can include drop shipping materials directly from the vendor to the site.
- Working with the customer and service manager for dates, times, and any additional special instructions such as: restricted areas, time restraints, training, etc.
- Confirming with the disposal facility that all spent carbon approval profiles are current and up to date. If the spent carbon profile has expired, work with the customer to submit new paperwork and samples to the disposal facility for approval.
- Travel 30% of your time to customer sites
- Identify areas where the company can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
- Keep management informed of competition and market conditions.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Provide input into campaigns, marketing, and production and sales processes to achieve sales goals.
- Participate in training, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested.
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 5 years’ work experience
- Good business acumen
- Activated Carbon experience and understanding a plus
- Media Exchange experience and understanding a plus
- Liquid/Vapor phase vessel experience a plus
- Professional demeanor
- Good phone and communication skills
- MBA preferred.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
