SUMMARY : The College and Career Counselor provides post-graduate planning support to students in grades 9-12. The most intense work is with juniors and seniors. The College and Career Counselor utilizes SCOIR for the College and Career readiness platform. There is a heavy emphasis on college counseling expertise. The position requires collaboration with school counselors, faculty, school administration and the Newton community. The Counselor attends college tours, workshops, and other post-graduation relevant programs. College and Career Counselor organizes and participates in a number of student / parent / caregiver evening events throughout the school year.

- Master's degree in Counseling or Education;
- MA School Counseling license and certification;
