SUMMARY : The position provides supervision and assistance to students during school-based lunch time. Responsible for maintaining order during lunch and recess activities and providing support to Lead Food Service Worker. Responsible for monitoring student behavior during meal time and assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, recycling, and the flow of meal service.
Qualifications :
- Experience with supervision of students.
- Ability to handle a multitude of varying and complex issues.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local lunch program regulations and knowledge of meal pattern requirements.
- Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures for food service.
- Mature ability to use judgement and be dependable.
- Basic computer skills.
