Summary: SPACE Camp Arts teachers provide instruction for incoming 5th-9th grade students within the camp setting. Teachers are willing to plan and teach fun and interactive lessons in courses such as Ceramics, Art of Drawing, Anime, Watercolor, Photography, and Scenery and Set Design. Teachers are also capable of planning and teaching Elementary level art activities. Hours of work are 8:45 am - 3:45 pm, with a half-hour lunch break.

Qualifications
- Experience in a classroom setting
- Arts Background
- Teaching degree/certification strongly desired
- Responsible for 5-15 students age 5th grade-9th grade
- Teach and support students in specific courses they are teaching
- Create and implement curriculum related to course subject or theme
- Coordinate and collaborate with special education staff to support students with disabilities
- Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the students
- Responsible for implementing "other job-related duties" as needed
- Work is performed in a school/classroom environment, as well as outdoors. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and/or kneel.
