What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental / Oral Surgery Assistant position at Newton Street Dental?
Great opportunity for a dental assistant with advanced general chairside skills to expand into oral surgery and prosthetics. Experience with 3-D imaging and scanning is helpful as this role requires the use of modern equipment and computer technology.
This opening is best suited for experienced dental assistants who can be depended upon for their reliability, intuition, teamwork, and their adaptability to changes and growth. Your primary role will be to assist the doctor with multiple extractions, grafting, implant placements and the supported prosthetics.
Hours available are 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Thursday, and some 7:45 am to 2 pm shifts on Fridays; approximately 32-38 hours per week. We offer generous benefits and profit sharing.
Requirements are:
Mass Registered Dental Assistant
Mass Dental X-ray Certification
Current CPR/AED or BLS Provider certification
1-year chairside experience
Preference will be given to CDA and formally trained dental assistants, however we are willing to invest in an on-the-job trained candidate with strong skills, enthusiasm, and aptitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
