Job Summary:
Newtown-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Central Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a Central Sterilization Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper processing and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment, as well as maintaining accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain complex sterilization equipment
- Verify the effectiveness of sterilization processes through quality control measures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of hospital facilities
Requirements:
- Hold a current CRCST certification from CBSPD or HSPA
- Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification within 30 days of start date
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
