As a RN Labor and Delivery nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, ensuring seamless transitions between departments, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and intervene as necessary to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- BLS certification required upon hire
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
