Overview :
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Substitutes. As a Substitute, you will have the opportunity to work in various educational settings, providing support and assistance in the absence of regular teachers or staff members. This is a rewarding role that allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational development. Must be confonfortable with infants through Kindergarten
Duties :
- Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by regular teachers or staff members
- Supervise students and maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure student engagement and behavior management
- Assist students with their academic tasks, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity in the learning process
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Physical Demands
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk frequently during the day. May stand four (4) to eight (8) hours per day. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion or more depending on child's weight. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
