HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
START DATE: July 2023
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold CT Certification as an Intermediate
Administrator and Supervisor (092)- Experience at the high school
level preferred.
High School leadership and administrator experience preferred
Candidates will be expected to excel in the following:
Problem Analysis Leadership Growth Mindset
Lead Professional Development Organizational Ability Decision Making
Ability to work as a team Instructional Knowledge Collaboration
Oral & Written Communication Curriculum Knowledge Conflict Resolution
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision and evaluation of staff
Student behavior and attendance
Supervision of instructional programs
School/community relations
Oversee Safe School Climate-School Wide
Carry out other duties as assigned by the principal
SALARY: As per Newtown Association of School Administrators Contract

Salary : $72,900 - $92,400
