POSITION: Technology Department Coordinator
START DATE: February 3, 2025
REMUNERATION: According to Educational Personnel Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help Desk ticketing oversight - answering, recording and prioritizing calls ensuring ticket
information is accurate
Guide end users in routine use of equipment and common software packages
Budget maintenance with on-going review to ensure annual purchases are timely and
accurate
Purchasing within district defined purchasing procedure: generate requisition, receive
shipments, submit invoices for payment
Maintain email/voicemail/secure print accounts
Inventory upkeep for accuracy and completeness
General duties including: answering phones, distributing memos/emails, keeping records,
receiving, and filing, scheduling appointments for department staff
Assist with department projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Information
Technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with
diverse teams
Proficiency in basic troubleshooting and supporting users with Windows, Chrome and Apple
operating systems
Understanding of databases
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, G-Suite (Google products) and district-adopted
software
Proficient in email and web searches
Willingness to learn District adopted software
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
