Are you ready to take your banking experience to the next level? Newtown Savings Bank is seeking an effective communicator with strong time-management skills for the role of eServices/Cash Management Representative.
Our eServices and Cash Management team is responsible for providing quality service, to internal and external customers, with accurate and timely responses to requests or concerns relating to Cash Management, Digital Banking, Debit Cards and various other services/products. This is an onsite opportunity at our Corporate office in Newtown, CT. Role has remote option of one day per week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete Cash Management service setups (e.g., ACH Origination, Lockbox services, Positive Pay, etc.).
- Provide Cash Management support in a courteous and timely manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries, monitors transactions/exceptions, assists with resolution of any technical/equipment issues and fulfills Cash Management research requests.
- Depending on customer and/or Bank need, support will be performed remotely or on-site at customer’s place of business.
- Perform assigned duties to support the Bank’s Cash Management risk management program, debit card program, ACH program, and Digital Banking solutions.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Cash Management and eServices providing courteous and timely support to all areas of the Bank.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly statistical information, key performance indicator reports, and invoice reconciliations.
- Escalate complex issues and/or unusual activity to Team Lead or Manager as appropriate.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree or its equivalent, plus minimum 3-5 years’ experience in banking operations or other related business field.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet assigned deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to provide effective instruction over the phone and in-person.
- Detail oriented with a strong customer focus.
- Knowledge of banking regulations/rules and operations.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and other Microsoft office products.
- Means and ability to travel on-site to customers as needed.
