Status: Full-time

Hours: M – F (8:00 AM – 5:00PM)

Location: Remote

Territory: Fargo Market

Pay Range: Draw-Down Base Commission (based upon experience)

Objective

The Sales Representative is an exciting new role in the Fargo Market for NewVision Security! NewVision has continued to grow substantially each year and is in need of someone to help serve the needs of its growing clientele in the Fargo Market.

In this role, you’ll be challenged to manage the sales process effectively from end-to-end. This includes prospecting, customer relations, business development, closing deals, and retaining happy customers. It’s like you’re running your own shop without all of the backend headaches and bookkeeping. You will be selling access control, fire, intrusion, and video surveillance systems.

We provide the very best in access control, fire, intrusion, and video surveillance systems. NewVision Security is based in Bismarck, but has remote technicians in Rapid City, SD and soon to be Fargo, ND.

Large Commercial Sales (Bid/Spec and End User)

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up (referrals, phone calls, & website inquiries).
  • Develop and pursue sales prospects through the entire sales process.
  • Meet with customers in order to properly understand project needs and requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and proficiently provide quotes in a timely manner.
  • Create electronic binder with all relevant documentations for technical install.

Inside Sales

  • Compiling the bill of materials and the overall project quote.
  • Ability to read and identify blueprints.
  • Design blueprint of building layout with product locations.
  • Effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors, or sales engineers to provide accurate quotes.

Role Requirements

  • Driven, self-managing, goal-orientated, and hardworking.
  • Demonstrate customer service experience.
  • Must be service-minded, customer driven, and excellent at following through on customer needs.
  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, ConnectWise Sell, or similar CRM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Bonus Points

  • Security systems and Fire alarm experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • B2B sales in Fargo Market.
  • CRM experience.
  • Tech and Design skills.
  • Higher education or certifications.
