As a rapidly growing leader in the electronic security and fire industry, NewVision serves residential, commercial, financial, industrial, energy, institutional, and agricultural markets with top-tier access control, fire, intrusion, and video surveillance systems. Based in Bismarck, ND, we’re seeking a driven individual to spearhead business development and represent our brand in this vibrant market.In this dynamic role, you’ll manage the entire sales process—from prospecting and customer relations to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction. Think of it as running your own business without the administrative headaches. You’ll sell cutting-edge security and fire solutions while working alongside a passionate, ambitious team that thrives in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and excellence are key.Key Responsibilities
Large Commercial Sales (Bid/Spec and End User)
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up (referrals, phone calls, website inquiries).
- Develop and pursue sales prospects through the entire sales process.
- Meet with customers to understand project needs and requirements.
- Provide accurate, timely quotes and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Create electronic records with all relevant documentation for technical installs.
Inside Sales
- Compile bills of materials and project quotes.
- Read and interpret blueprints to design building layouts with product locations.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, or sales engineers to ensure accurate quotes.
Business Development
- Prospect and pursue local/regional companies in vertical markets (Financial, Healthcare, Governmental, Educational, Religious Institutions).
- Drive new sales opportunities through proactive lead follow-up.
Role Requirements
- Driven, self-managing, goal-oriented, and hardworking.
- Proven customer service experience with a service-minded, client-focused approach.
- Excellent follow-through on customer needs.
- Strong phone presence with experience making dozens of calls daily.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Experience with Salesforce.com, ConnectWise Sell, or similar CRM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

- Experience with security systems or fire alarms.
- Project management experience.
