NewVista Corporate – Accountant
Full Time position in our Corporate office in Blue Ash.
Estimated Pay Range: $50k-70k/annually

The Role Itself
- Responsible for ensuring timely month end close processing and financial statement review and distribution.
- Reviews bi-weekly labor reports, analyzes variances, and distributes to management.
- Performs monthly bank account reconciliations and various balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers for quarterly balance sheet reviews by accounting management.
- Assists department management in preparation for various audits
- Other accounting projects and functions as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with Workday preferred.
Other Requirements
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Excellent Excel skills are required.
- Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Teamwork, flexibility needed to fulfill job responsibilities, adapting to changes in work environment and accepting supervisory feedback.
