JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Active Ohio RN, LPN or LSW licensure preferred, but not required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As Utilization Review Coordinator, you will :
- Coordinate and monitor appropriate utilization and documentation of services throughout the course of treatment for patients admitted to the inpatient programs.
- Coordinate authorization with third-party payors.
- Review cases for appropriateness of admission, continued stay, and discharge planning.
- Maintain communication system based on documentation and verbal exchange regarding treatment.
- Communicate with internal and external entities to facilitate acquisition of resources.
- Schedule Peer to Peer appointments for physician and CNP.
