Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : PM, 7.5 hours, 2 pm - 8 pm (5 days / week)
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in the specialty within the last 3 years
License : New York State RN License
Certifications : AHA BLS
Must-Have : BSN, Travel experience or local NYC experience, Level 1 Trauma Experience, COVID vaccinated prior to start date, willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset
Job Description :
- Participate in weekly start dates, with an average compliance requirement of 4-6 weeks.
- Conduct voice advantage interviews and nurse manager screenings.
- No call or weekend requirements.
- Requires floating to areas within acuity as needed.
- Maintain flu and COVID vaccination requirements; declinations are not accepted.
- No distinction in rates for local travelers.
- Dress code includes navy bottom with a white top or all white. Navy bottom requires dark shoes, or all white attire requires white shoes.
- Provide 2 references from the most recent assignment within the skill set.
- Complete a skills checklist in the required skill set matching order.
- Must have electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
- Offers valid for 48 business hours. If not confirmed within this timeframe, the opportunity may be rescinded and offered to another candidate.
