Laboratory Manager – Blood Bank – Full Time - Days

As the Blood Bank Manager, provide your expertise to Clinical Laboratory Operations with a focus on Transfusion Medicine. In this highly visible position, you will provide oversight to all areas of the lab including but not limited to operations, staffing & training, budget, QA, and regulatory compliance. Work to the highest capacity of your laboratory career interacting with physician users and all levels of hospital leadership while supporting the Laboratory Director.
This is a full-time day shift position. Location is our NYP Westchester (formerly Lawrence Hospital) campus in Bronxville, NY.
Preferred Criteria
- Master’s Degree
- American Society for Clinical Pathology Certification (ASCP) or equivalent
Required Criteria
- Bachelor of Science Degree (Medical Technology)
- Meets all requirements of the New York State Department of Health for a Laboratory Supervisor
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from New York Education Department
- 5 years of management experience including regulatory aspects of practice
- Computer literacy and experience in utilization of laboratory computer systems
- Experience with computerized spreadsheets, word processors, and other statistical and financial programming

Salary Range:
