Patient Access Coordinator - Infusion Center - Monday/Friday (Day Flex)
Schedule and register patients for Infusion treatments and physician visits and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you will obtain demographic details and insurance information, eligibility, and authorizations for all patients. Coordinate all frontend processes and functions including phones, files, scanning and charts. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.
This is a Full-time day (Monday/Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Day Flex) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1978 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester, NY.
Preferred Criteria
College education with bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or communication.
Required Criteria
Secretarial experience with thorough knowledge of general office/clerical procedures, and good typing, computer, and word processing skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with hospital employees and the public.
Bookkeeping and record keeping skills and experience with spreadsheets and billing.
Normal office environment. Ability to communicate via the telephone and in person with all levels of hospital employees, physicians, Board members, patients, visitors, and outside agencies. Compose correspondence and operate computer.
