Patient Access Liaison- NYP Medical Group-Queens

NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups (NYPMG) are part of the physician enterprise of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic healthcare delivery systems affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools. Through primary care and multispecialty medical practices, the physicians and other health care professionals of NYPMG, in collaboration with Columbia Doctors and Weill Cornell Physicians, provide families with high-quality, patient-centered care close to home in the New York metropolitan area.
A Patient Access Liaison is responsible for handling incoming telephone calls, making appointments, and registering patients per practice guidelines. Provides constant interactions with patients, families, caregivers, clinicians, and physicians in the practice.
This is a full-time Monday-Friday. Overtime as needed.
Preferred Criteria:
- Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Spanish.
- Call Center experience.
- College Degree or 6 months of job-related experience.
- Epic Experience
Required Criteria:
- Knowledge of medical office setting and medical terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High school Diploma or GED.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
