Work with our nursing staff and new hires in gearing learning needs to meet the needs of our institution as we move towards Magnet status. Use your nursing experience and education in a meaningful way by guiding the next generation of top-talent nurses! Conduct clinical rounds, identify the individual and collective learning needs of staff, use cutting-edge technology (e.g., online learning modules), promote best clinical practices, inspire award-winning nurses, regularly evaluate staff competencies, and provide clinical mentorship and career guidance as needed. Participate in facilitating our Nurse Residency program with our new nurses.This is a per diem time Day position, with a requirement of 3 shifts per month, varied start and end times with some off shift and weekend coverage.Preferred Criteria Master’s Degree in Nursing EducationExperience in Critical CareBasic Life Support Instructor CertificationCertification in Medical / SurgicalRequired Criteria At least four years of acute care RN experienceMaster’s Degree in NursingCurrent New York State RN licenseBCLS through AHAJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
